The job file
The Challenge
Roof tiles had become porous and brittle due to age, with multiple cracked tiles allowing moisture to enter during heavy rain. If left unresolved, issues like this can allow water to enter the roof cavity, leading to leaks, internal damage, mould growth and further deterioration of the roof structure over time.
The Solution
The roof was professionally cleaned using high pressure equipment to remove years of dirt, moss and lichen buildup. All broken tiles were replaced before the ridge caps were re-pointed with flexible pointing compound to restore weather protection. The roof was then sealed with primer and finished with two coats of premium roof membrane coating.
